Introduction to Speak Life - Exposing Evil with Evidence
The Awakening
Spiritual Realities
Spiritual Blindness:
Spiritual blindness is what happens when we’re cut off from God. It started back in the garden—when Adam and Eve disobeyed, their physical eyes opened, but their spiritual sight was lost. They suddenly became aware of their nakedness and tried to cover it up. That’s what happens when we step out of alignment with God—we start reacting to the natural instead of being led by the Spirit.
Everyone who lives apart from God walks in that same blindness. The Bible says their understanding is darkened, their hearts are hardened, and they chase after the flesh without even realizing they’re lost (Eph. 4:17–19). They’re disconnected from truth, walking in ignorance, even if they seem “woke” by the world’s standards.
But here’s the good news: Jesus came to open our eyes—real eyes, spiritual eyes. When we accept Him, the veil lifts, and suddenly we can see clearly. We recognize the battle, we hear the truth, and we no longer have to be slaves to the lies.
Without God, people might still sense spiritual things, but if they’re not guided by the Holy Spirit, they’re wide open to deception—led by powers that aren't from Heaven. This is why discernment is everything in this season.
If you feel like you've been walking in circles, stuck in confusion or temptation, ask yourself: Can I see clearly? Or am I spiritually blind?
Spiritual Perception Restored in Christ:
When we say “yes” to Jesus, we don’t just get saved—we get our spiritual sight back. The veil is torn. The distance between the natural and the spiritual is removed, and we’re invited back into real communion with God—Spirit to spirit.
That’s why Jesus came. Not just to forgive sin, but to restore connection. To rewire our perception so we don’t just exist—we live in the Spirit.
“God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” (John 4:24)
Without this understanding, we end up doing what Adam and Eve did—trying to cover ourselves with works, religion, striving. But that’s not the Gospel. That’s man-made. That’s flesh trying to do what only faith can access.
Paul called it out: “O foolish Galatians! Who bewitched you?” (Gal. 3:1). You started in the Spirit—so why are you trying to finish this thing in the flesh?
When we truly live and walk in the Spirit, we stop striving. Our natural life starts to align with Kingdom purpose. Prayer becomes alignment, not obligation. Actions become overflow, not effort.
“For it is God who works in you, both to will and to do...” (Phil. 2:13)
This is who we are—we are spirit beings first. Trying to live this life any other way will wear you out. But when we abide in Him, we receive not just clarity—but power. His Word becomes life. His Spirit becomes breath.
So check yourself: Are you walking in the Spirit, or just wearing the label?
