Day 1: The Day Everything Changed

From Desperation to Divine Alignment

Reflection:

Are you tired of pretending you’re okay?
Have you cried behind closed doors hoping no one hears you — not because you're ashamed, but because you're exhausted?

Maybe you’ve been showing up for others but secretly wondering…
“God, do you even see me?”
“Am I too far gone?”
“Is it too late to turn this around?”

Let me speak life to your weary soul: It’s not too late. You are not too far. And He sees you — right here, right now.

Two years ago, I was in that same space. I had nothing left to give. Still in addiction, still fighting demons that looked like disappointment, heartbreak, and regret. But one morning, in a simple moment of surrender — in the shower, robe still on, heart wide open — God met me.

My Bible was open. Worship music played in the background. And suddenly, Isaiah 43:19 jumped off the page — just as the lyrics behind me declared, “He’s making a way in the wilderness.” It wasn’t coincidence. It was divine choreography.

That moment marked the beginning of everything new. It was the birth of Speak Life Transformation Ministry. But more than that, it was the resurrection of a daughter who thought she was too far gone.

So maybe today’s not just my “Day 1.”
Maybe it’s yours.

He’s not waiting for your perfection — only your permission.

Scripture: Isaiah 43:19 (NLT)

“For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.”

Worship Song:
🎵 “The Song of Isaiah” by Maverick City Music
(Let this song wash over you and awaken the rivers God is already releasing in your dry places.)

Don’t forget to share your thoughts with me and thank you for reading my life story through devotions.
